So her mom taught her how to make bracelets out of pretty glass beads and crocheted wire. The little girl sold her bracelets alongside her lemonade stand during Dairy Days and although she did not make much money, she and her mom did find great joy in creating handmade treasures. And the rest, as they say, is history.

I'm a wife, mother, home-educator, and recovering career-woman. I'm also a life-long designer & fiber artist. Over the years, Selah's Treasures has grown into a small home-based business. While we still occasionally design jewelry, the focus today is primarily on fiber arts. It begins with hand-spinning. Even my youngest son enjoys using the drop spindle to turn llama fleece into yarn. Our hansdpun yarns are used to crochet unique accessories for every member of the family and the home... All the while I continue to teach my children to craft and create treasures out of pretty much anything.

We are proud to be from the Great State of Minnesota! We're also very proud to use locally-grown fibers. Among our favorites: Llama from Sunshine Sheep & Wool in North Branch, MN; Alpaca from RachAlpaca in Hastings, MN; and Cormo from Dresow Family Farm in Lonsdale, MN. It's always our goal to use local fiber and do our own hand-spinnning

I may never use acrylic yarn again. I tried the Victorian Trellis pattern with hand spun cormo. Wow! Such a well written pattern. Your attention to detail is amazing! I love this scarf

"Truly a piece of art. So elegant, soft and warm. I will most likely buy another pair in a different color because you don't see things like this in stores."

"Esthermay, received the gloves today and they are as nice as I expected them to be. And the fit is perfect. Your work just exquisite, thank you so very much!"

"She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it.... Strength and honour are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come."
